COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police have one suspect in custody, but another one is on the run after an armed robbery Wednesday morning in Colerain Township.

It happened just before 10 a.m. at the U.S. Bank on Colerain Avenue, near the intersection of Galbraith and Clara as a customer was trying to make a deposit.

Police say two men approached the woman and demanded her money bag. A police report says the two men threw the woman to the ground and hit her several times before grabbing the money bag.

An off-duty officer was at the bank at the time, and a Colerain Township officer was in the area, so they were able to apprehend one of the suspects, William Arruda, 22, quickly. The money bag was also recovered.

The armed suspect is still on the loose. A description was not immediately available.

Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
