MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - One of the suspects on Butler County's 'Top 10 Most Wanted' list has been arrested.
Reedis McCoy III, 31, was arrested Wednesday morning on Church Avenue in Middletown, where he had been staying.
The Butler County Sheriff's Office says McCoy had previously been arrested and charged for a 2009 burglary in Middletown. After not abiding by a judge's orders in disposition of that case, a warrant for his arrest was issued back in October of 2010. McCoy had been on the run since then, leading to his placement on the "Top Ten Most Wanted" list.
Sheriff's Deputies had recently developed information leading them to believe he was staying in Middletown. The home on Church Avenue was placed under surveillance, and McCoy was observed outside the residence Wednesday morning.
He was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held in the Butler County Jail.
