Two teens killed in accident near Clermont County covered bridge

STONELICK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Two teenagers have died after an accident in Clermont County near the Stonelick Williams Corner Road Bridge.

The accident happened at around 10 p.m. Thursday night. Dispatchers say that police were called to a single-vehicle accident on the north side of the bridge. Two medical helicopters were also called to the scene.

Police say the driver, Skye Gabriel, 19, of Norwood, failed to negotiate a curve to the right, drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. She was taken to via Air Care to University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A passenger, Corey Peacock, 18, of Milford, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second passenger, Kaitlyn Rust, 18, was taken via Air Care to University Hospital. Her condition has not been released.

Police say alcohol was not a factor. The crash remains under investigation.
