ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A cheerleading clinic in memory of former Coach Meagan Toothman was held Saturday at Turpin High School. Toothman died August 22, following injuries she received when the stage at a Sugarland concert collapsed in Indiana. She was the head coach at Turpin High School up until her death.
An estimated 50 girls, grades 2-6, participated in the event. The cheerleaders at Turpin High School taught the girls a dance routine and how to cheer.
The money received from the event will go towards a scholarship in Toothman's honor.
