Bengals playing Texans in first playoff game

The Cincinnati Bengals will be traveling to Houston to play in their first postseason game of the year.

On Saturday, the Bengals will be traveling to Reliant Stadium to take on the Houston Texans. The scheduled kick-off time is 4:30 p.m.

The Bengals played the Texans earlier this year, losing 20-19 at Paul Brown Stadium.

The Bengals lost to the Ravens on Sunday, but were still able to make the playoffs due to losses by the Jets and Broncos.

The team and fans found out in the final seconds of Sunday's game that Denver had lost when the scoreboard at Paul Brown Stadium flashed the final score.

"I heard the crowd and I asked somebody, `Was there a penalty on that play?"' cornerback Nate Clements said. "He said, `Denver lost. We're in.' I still wasn't sure. Then we came into the locker room and they confirmed it."

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is 3-0 at Reliant Stadium, where he played two games in high school and one at TCU.

The last Bengals playoff win came against the then Houston Oilers in 1991 at Riverfront Stadium. Since then, the Bengals have made the playoffs twice, once in 2006, when they lost in the first round to the Steelers, and again in 2009 when they lost in the first round to the Jets.
