A 17-year-old boy who is accused of murdering a fellow resident at a children's home in Butler County was in court Tuesday.
Police say the teen attacked Anthony Parker, 16, at One Way Farm last month. Parker died a few days later from serious head injuries.
The judge has 30 days to schedule a probable cause hearing, which is when we'll learn if the boy will be tried as an adult.
If the teen is tried as an adult, he'll face 15 years to life in prison plus a $15,000 fine if convicted.
Since the incident, ten children have been removed from One Way Farm, and placed in temporary care.
One Way Farm is not facing any charges at this point.
