CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Members of Occupy Cincinnati are addressing Cincinnati City Council Thursday to talk about priorities for the new year.
Jim Prues, the founder of Occupy Cincinnati and the organization World 5.0, says he will address council during the two minute public comment period before the meeting.
Prues says some of the group's priorities include job creation, foreclosures and homelessness. Other items on the Occupy agenda include a better effort of localizing food and energy production and the recommendation to the city to move its financial assets to a local credit union or create a city bank.
Thursday's full council meeting, the first full meeting of the year, begins at 2 p.m. in council chambers.
