CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - You can get your Girl Scout cookie fix starting Friday, and this year there is a new kind of cookie to try.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of girl scouting, so to celebrate, there is a new lemon wedge cookie called 'Savannah Smiles.' It's described as a dense, crunchy and shortbread-like cookie with a light lemon flavor with a sugar dusting.
'Savannah Smiles' joins best sellers Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils and Do-Si-Dos as being available for sale this year by the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.
Cookies are $3.50 a box. All Girl Scout Cookie Sale proceeds stay in the community.
