HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Butler County police have arrested two men for selling heroin in Butler County.
Police arrested Joshua Short and William Barr for having over 85 grams of heroin.
Police received a tip that Short was selling a large amount of heroin. While police were staking out his house they saw Short and Barr leaving the home. Police believed that they were going on a trip to Dayton to purchase heroin and sell it in Butler County. When Short and Barr returned to the home police issued a search warrant for the home and they were arrested on drug charges. Police also issued a search warrant on Short's mother's home.
Short was charged with Possession of Drugs and faces a mandatory 3 years in prison. He could face additional charges by a jury. Barr was arrested on a warrant by he will be also charged Possession of Drugs and faces a mandatory 3 years in prison.
Short and Barr are both being held in the Butler County Correctional Complex.
Police say agents also say they took two motorcycles, a Ford van, a Ford pickup truck and a Chevrolet Caprice.
