Gallatin County woman arrested after police discover in-home meth lab

WARSAW, KY (FOX19) - A woman accused of running a meth lab out of her home, in the presence of a one-year old child, has been taken into custody in Warsaw, Ky.

Kentucky State Troopers found several materials used for running a meth lab in the home of 36-year old Amy Martin Thursday night.

An one-year old child that was found in the home was transported to St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence for medical evaluation.

Martin has been charged with manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Meth Precursors, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Resisting Arrest.

The investigation led by Kentucky State Troopers is on-going.

Gallatin County Social Services has placed the child with family members.
