More than 200 Boy Scouts and their leaders from the William Henry Harrison District participated in a Winter Klondike Saturday. The event teaches young boys essentials of camping in the cold weather. The group will camp out in the freezing cold for two nights in Mt Airy Forest.
The boys competed in events such as snow shoeing and launching objects with a trebuchet, a type of catapult.
The Winter Klondike is held annually.
