A Cincinnati based logistics company has opened a new location in Northern Kentucky, bringing job opportunities to the region.
Total Quality Logistics has opened a facility in Erlanger, KY, near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The new building is expected to create 50 new jobs in 2012. TQL Executive Vice President Kerry Byrne says the Erlanger location is part of an expansion strategy aimed at breaking into new markets. It will be the project's seventh "satellite" facility, and will feature resources and operations modeled after the company's Cincinnati location.
"Providing our satellite office with the technology and business formula of our Cincinnati headquarters enables our satellite employees to fast-track their careers," said Byrne. "They have the best of both worlds, a tight-knit team environment backed by the resources of an established organization."
Total Quality Logistics specializes in truckload transportation for business clients across the U.S. and Canada. Founded in Cincinnati in 1997, the company employs 1,700 people spread over eight states. It was designated a "Top Workplace" as well as one of the "Healthiest Employers of Greater Cincinnati."
Byrne says that TQL is looking to capitalize on the best talent in the areas surrounding its new satellite locations. Those interested in a sales position can apply by clicking here.
