CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

We received an update on the progress of our Lincoln Avenue Habitat for Humanity project.

The living and dining room flooring is installed.

All the doors are hung, casing and baseboard is now complete on the 2nd floor.

Window sills have also been installed.

The painting of the walls is completed on the 1st and 2nd floors.  We are now focusing on painting the doors, wood trim, baseboards and touching up as needed.  The finish electric work has also been completed this week.

On Friday, the kitchen and bath cabinets will be delivered and they hope to start installing them next week.

A lot of the miscellaneous hardware to trim out closets and bath accessories will also be delivered next week.

As you can see, we are getting down to the final phase of our project and we can still use your help to push it over the top!

The primary tasks up next include:

  • Finish installing flooring in kitchen and baths
  • Install kitchen and bath cabinets
  • Finish installing baseboard and door casing.
  • Finish painting, woodwork, and doors.
  • Install shelving in all closets
  • Install all inside handrails
  • Finish top rail and handrail on side porch
  • Finish outside storage shed
