BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police believe a dispute over a BBQ trailer led to a shooting Wednesday afternoon in Bond Hill.
At around 11 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 71 near the Taft Road exit on a BBQ trailer that was reported stolen.
The person who called police saying the trailer was stolen was following the trailer. Officers determined the incident to be a domestic dispute involving the trailer being used as collateral for a loan.
About an hour later, officers received a report of a shooting in the 1800 block of Portman Avenue. Officers arrived and found the same BBQ trailer at the scene.
The shooting victim showed up at Cincinnati Police District 4 headquarters for help and was taken to the hospital. That person's name and condition have not been released.
