FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - One person was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after striking a vehicle and rolling into an embankment in Fairfield Township.
The accident happened at around 3:15 pm on West bound OH-129 just West of Bypass 4. Police say that the driver of a Dodge pickup truck collided with a beverage truck, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and hit a light pole. The vehicle then slid down an embankment rolling several times in front of the rear of Bridgewater Falls Shopping complex.
When police arrived at the scene, the driver of the pickup truck had to be extricated using the Hurst Jaws of Life.
The driver was taken to West Chester Hospital.
The Fairfield Township Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
