Cincinnati's riverfront development is moving ahead with more restaurants and entertainment venues expected to open by spring and a second phase that could include a spa and more luxury apartments not far behind.
The leasing agent for the project known as The Banks has been working since 2010 to get a mix of national chains and locally owned restaurants and entertainment spots for the project's $80 million first phase.
Space is being leased for the second phase. That could include a coffee house, spa, grocery store and bookstore and 300 more apartments.
The leasing agent says the goal has been to get an eclectic mix of venues that will set The Banks apart from other developments in the Midwest.
