ST. BERNARD, OH (FOX19) - A St. Bernard mother is facing charges after police say they found her children living in deplorable conditions.
Alicia Williams, 30, is charged with three counts of endangering children.
According to St. Bernard Police, while officers were executing a search warrant on Williams' Sullivan Avenue residence, they found three children, ages 11, 3 and 1 living in deplorable conditions. There was little to no food in the refrigerator, the pantry was empty and there were eight bags of garbage in the kitchen. There was also food that was several days old laying out and the sink and countertops were full of old food and dirty dishes.
Police also said the three children shared one bedroom that appeared to be too cluttered with dirty clothes to be usable.
Williams was arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center. The children were turned over to 241-KIDS.
