Streets reopened after suspicious object investigation

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Streets in Downtown Cincinnati are reopened after the Cincinnati Bomb Squad was called to investigate a suspicious object.

Police blocked off the intersection of Eggleston Ave. and Central Parkway while they investigate the object. The object turned out to be a PVC pipe that was sealed together with duct tape and filled with sand.

Police believed that a nearby construction crew was using the pipe as a weight.
