PREBLE COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - A couple is in the hospital after being rescued from high water in Preble County.
Rescue crews were called to OH-122 near Pleasant Valley Road around 10 p.m. Thursday.
The couple's car was washed away into a creek after they tried to drive over a bridge which had water running over it.
They were trapped in the high water until fire crews could reach them and pull them to safety.
Additional crews had to be called from nearby neighborhoods to help.
The couple was taken to an area hospital where they are now recovering. Their conditions are unknown, but they could be suffering from hypothermia.
The area has received over 1.5" of rain due to the storms Thursday.
