Firefighters called to West Price Hill apartment building twice in one night
WEST PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) -
The Cincinnati Fire Department was called to the scene of two one-alarm fires at the same West Price Hill apartment building Friday night.
Crews were first called to the building on the 4500 block of Glenway Avenue at around 5:00 pm. The fire was contained to a small storage area on the second floor, and was brought under control in approximately 5 minutes. The fire caused only about $1,000 in damage.
Crews were called to the same apartment building at around 8:30 pm. That fire was contained to a second floor apartment and the second floor hallway. The fire was brought under control in approximately 15 minutes, and caused only $30,000 in damage.
No one was injured in either fire, and all occupants evacuated the building before firefighters arrived both times. The cause of both fires is being investigated by the Cincinnati Fire Department Fire Investigations Unit.
