Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory teamed up with PNC Bank Saturday to host Cincinnati Financial Education Day.
The event was held at the Main Branch of the Public Library from 10a.m.-4p.m.
Anyone who attended could participate in free one-on-one financial consultations with certified professionals.
The topics ranged from health/life insurance planning to investment questions and many other subjects. Individuals were not asked to give personal information about themselves.
The event also featured four educational workshops on subjects such as: working with your bank account, managing your credit, handling foreclosure and tackling debt.
The Financial Planning Association of Greater Cincinnati, LifeSpan Ohio, Urban League of Greater Cincinnati, Smart-Money, Bank of Greater Cincinnati, United Way and Working in Neighborhoods were partners in the financial education clinic.
