Metro bus driver shot in Kennedy Heights

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Twelve students were aboard a Metro bus when a driver was grazed by a bullet Monday afternoon.

Police say it happened just before 4:00 in Kennedy Heights, at the intersection of Red Bank and Woodford.

Officers on the scene tell FOX19 that 12 high school students from Woodward were on the bus when a bullet came through the windshield, grazing the bus driver's arm.

The driver kept the bus moving after being hit to get away from the gunfire.

The bus came to rest at Red Bank and Woodford.

The driver was taken to the hospital.  Her injuries are not thought to be serious. No students were hurt.

Police say they aren't sure when the shots came from.
