DELHI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Local elementary students learned a lesson about business on Monday.
Delshire Elementary fifth graders worked in teams to create a service or product to sell to the other grades for Market Day. The students also had to pay rent on their booths and overhead expenses to teach them an important lesson.
"We do this so our kids learn about how to run a business and how to make a profit," said Eric Rothwell, a teacher at the school.
Students were even taxed for selling certain items to make the project more realistic.
