CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Over a thousand representatives from Cincinnati Catholic schools participated in a special mass Tuesday to celebrate Catholic Schools Week.
Most Rev. Daniel E. Pilarczyk, former Cincinnati Archbishop, presided over the event at St. Peter in Chains in downtown Cincinnati.
Catholic school students, their teachers and their communities are celebrating the 38th annual Catholic Schools Week through Feb. 4. This year's theme is "Catholic Schools: Faith, Academics, Service."
After this year's mass, students carrying school banners lined the steps of the cathedral.
