Cincinnati based company creating 50 new jobs

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - JobsOhio and Cincinnati USA, announced on Monday that Cincinnati-based Meyer Tool is finalizing its efforts to create 50 new jobs and generate an additional $1.2 million payroll.

"It's imperative that we keep high performing, innovative companies such as Meyer Tool in Ohio," said Mark Kvamme, president and interim CIO for JobsOhio. "Not only is this 33-year-old company retaining and creating jobs, but as makers of turbine engine components, Meyer Tool is supporting Ohio's role as being home to the largest concentration of aircraft engine manufacturers in the U.S."

On Monday, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a tax credit to assist the company with its job retention, creation and expansion efforts.

The credit is performance based and pending final approval from Meyer Tool as the company moves forward with its capital project.
