CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

The two men accused of setting fire to a Goodwill store in Clermont County have been indicted.

A Clermont County Grand Jury indicted Thomas Gaffney, 21, and Christopher Fairchild, 21, on Arson, Vandalism, Breaking and Entering and Safecracking charges.

Police believe Gaffney and Fairchild decided to set fire to the Goodwill store on Mt. Moriah Drive in Union Township after a failed attempt at breaking into the safe.

Most of the charitable donations in the store were ruined by vandalism or by the sprinkler system. Five other Goodwill stores in the Cincinnati area have been broken into in the last year and a half.

Fairchild was a former employee and Gaffney was a current employee at Goodwill store at the time of the vandalism.
