UC football player accused of breaking into dorm room

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A UC football player is accused of breaking into a dorm room on campus and stealing property.

Akise De'Shawn Teague, 20, a sophomore running back from Youngstown, is charged with one count of burglary.

According to Hamilton County court documents, Teague entered a room in Daniels Hall and took property. He admitted the offense in a verbal and written statement.

Teague had one touchdown in two games for the Bearcats this season. He attended Youngstown Ursuline High School and was the winner of the 2010 Ohio Mr. Football award.

Teague's bond was set at $5,000 during his arraignment Thursday morning.
