An open forum was held Thursday evening to discuss an operating levy for Princeton City Schools that is on the March ballot.
Even if the levy passes, the district will have to cut a million dollars every year for the next three years.
If the levy fails, Princeton schools will have to cut $6.5 million from their budget.
Princeton Superintendent Gary Pack was at the forum, trying to convince voters to pass the levy. "They need to pass on to the next generation what five decades at Princeton have had. That's what we're trying to protect," he said.
