MOUNT WASHINGTON, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati fire crews are calling a large fire in Mt. Washington suspicious.
Crews were called to the 2300 block of Beechmont Avenue just before 6 a.m. Friday morning.
The fire was located in a 2-story vacant apartment building. Arriving fire units found heavy fire showing from the first and second floors. Crews initiated an aggressive interior attack and brought the fire under control within 30 minutes.
No injuries have been reported. Damage is estimated at $50,000. Fire investigators have been called to the scene to try and determined what happened.
Beechmont Avenue was shut down between Corbly and Wasigo, but now the westbound side has reopened.
