CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Burlington man is behind bars after police say he impersonated a police officer and assaulted a woman.
Curtis Brant, 28, is charged with impersonating a police officer and ethnic intimidation.
The incident happened in December on Pleasant Street in Over the Rhine. Brant was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center on Tuesday evening.
According to Hamilton County court records, Brant approached the victim's car and told her he was a police officer and that she needed to open her door. He then jerked the door open and began punching the woman repeatedly in the face and head. He called her a racial slur and told her, "I'm going to kill you."
Brant is being held without bond pending his arraignment on Tuesday morning.
