LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19)
A Dearborn County has turned herself in to police after prosecutors say she left her morbidly obese sister alive and decomposing in a chair for three weeks.
Vickie Holdcraft, 58, was indicted by a Dearborn County grand jury on Friday on charges of reckless homicide, neglect and perjury. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
Holdcraft turned herself in to the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday morning.
Prosecutors say 61-year-old Priscilla Frieberger died in October after spending the last three weeks of her life stuck alive decomposing in a brown cloth recliner in the Lawrenceburg home she shared with Holdcraft.
Dearborn County Prosecutor Aaron Negangard says Frieberger's skin was stuck to the chair and her body had started decomposing before her sister called 911 on Oct. 2.
Frieberger later died of pneumonia and a blood infection.
