Several cartons of cigarettes and car stolen from gas station

CRESCENT SPRINGS, KY (FOX19) - A suspect wanted in Northern Kentucky fled a gas station with cartons of cigarettes and a stolen vehicle.

Police say that the robbery happened on Sunday around 8 p.m. at the Shell gas station on Buttermilk Pike in Crescent Springs.

A male suspect shop lifted several cartons of cigarettes and fled the store. After leaving the store, the suspect confronted a person in the parking that was pumping gas and stole the patron's 1991 maroon/purple four-door Lexus LS400 bearing Ohio registration DVE2659.

While stealing the car, the suspect implied he had a gun and threatened the victim.

Police released surveillance photos from the scene.
