CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County sex offender is facing charges after police say he assaulted three young girls.
Damon Francis, 34, is charged with three counts of assault. According to Hamilton County court records, Francis came out of the woods and tried to choke two 12-year-old girls as they were walking in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Hasler Lane in Elmwood Place on Tuesday. The third girl called 911, and told police Francis spit in her face and tried to push her over a rail.
In affidavits from all three girls, they ask that he be evicted from the apartment complex. Two of the girls called him "creepy," and one of them said he is always staring in her window.
According to Hamilton County records, Francis is a sexually oriented offender.
Francis was also arrested for aggravated menacing and theft for an incident on Jan. 29. Police say he robbed the Munafo's Valley Grocery on Vine street by taking two 4-Lokos. When leaving the scene, he told police he was a mental health patient and threatened to hit an officer with a metal pipe. He threw his wallet at the officer before fleeing.
Francis is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
