BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -
Ohio Governor John Kasich visited Batavia Township Thursday for the opening of a new plant that will use the latest processes to recycle aluminum.
The governor attended a ribbon-cutting at Global Scrap Management's new Altimet facility, which is located in part of the old Ford Plant on Batavia Road.
The plant will take used material containing aluminum and process it into high-quality ingots and pellets.
