CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Mayor Mark Mallory announced Wednesday that the SuperJobs Center in Over-The-Rhine will be run by Hamilton County Jobs and Family Services.
According to the mayor's office, the move will save approximately $500,000 that can be used to increase the workforce training provided at the SuperJobs Center.
"Federal funding has gone down over the last few years, so we had to become more efficient and cost effective. By partnering with the county, we are going to be able to cut management costs and reinvest those funds into putting people to work," Mayor Mallory said in a statement.
The SuperJobs Center is located at 1916 Central Parkway. Its mission is to provide services to job seekers and employers in one centralized location.
JFS will take over the SuperJobs Center July 1, 2012. There will be no interruption of services to citizens and employers.
