POLICE: Drug suspect turns himself in


A wanted man turns himself in to Franklin Police.

Jeffrey Guy, Jr., 23, turned himself in Thursday afternoon.

Police received a complaint about illegal drug activity in the area of Franklin Commons Apartment Complex in Franklin.

Police say an investigation revealed that Guy was selling heroin in the complex.

Police approached Guy, who then fled in his vehicle. He jumped from his vehicle and fled on foot while still in the apartment complex.

Police sent out a notice to the media on Wednesday, looking for him.

During an interview, Guy admitted that he saw himself on a television stations's web site and decided to turn himself into the police.

Guy was just released from prison in November of 2011 for Involuntary Manslaughter.  

Guy has been charged with drug trafficking and fleeing and eluding police.

He is being held in the Warren County Jail for a bond of $57,500. 

He will be arraigned in Franklin Municipal Court on Friday, February 10th at noon.
