67-year-old man killed in crash on Ronald Reagan Hwy.

SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a fatal crash Friday morning on the Ronald Reagan Highway.

The crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. on the westbound side of the highway, at the ramp to southbound I-71.

Police say a Nissan 350Z operated by Jessica Abhat, 27, of Cold Spring, Ky. was traveling westbound when she struck a Honda Civic that failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign.

The driver of the Honda, John E. Bigane III, 67, of Cincinnati, was attempting to turn eastbound onto SR 126 from the SB 71 ramp.

Bigane was taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Abhat was taken to Christ Hospital where she is in stable condition.

Police say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in this crash.

The crash caused both directions of the highway to be closed for a short time, but it is now reopen.
