INDEPENDENCE, KY (FOX19) - Two Independence brothers have been arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine.
Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force agents and the Independence Police responded to a disturbance at a home on Gunstock Court on Monday evening.
Officers were told there was a strong chemical coming from the home. Upon searching, NKDSF agents found chemicals and equipment consistent with the manufacture of meth. There were two children present in the home who were placed in the custody of the Kentucky Cabinet for Families and Children.
Samuel W. Elliott, 37, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, a class B felony. His brother, Gary T. Elliott, 44, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 2nd offense, a class A felony.
Both men are lodged in the Kenton County Detention Center.
