CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A motion to appeal a judge's decision to demolish the historic Gamble House made its way through Cincinnati City Council Wednesday.
Now it will be up to City Manager Milton Dohoney to instruct the city solicitor, John P. Curp, to appeal last month's ruling, which cleared the way for the Westwood landmark to be demolished.
Wendell Young was one of the six council members to sign today's motion, and after the meeting said, "I'm actually glad that we're going to continue the fight. I've never been one to quit. I [owe] the people who want to see the Gamble House saved everything the city can do to move forward with that process."
The Gamble House is currently owned by the Greenacres Foundation, who wants to transform it into a park.
