(FOX19) - New research has found that your baby's food could contain high levels of arsenic.
Researchers at Dartmouth University took a look at different foods that use organic brown rice syrup as a sweetener and found arsenic in some of the foods, including baby formula.
Researchers say that at least one formula sample has six times the legal limit of arsenic the government allows in drinking water.
There are currently no federal laws restricting how much carcinogen can be used in food.
Arsenic is found in soil and has been linked to cancer and immune system problems.
