AUGUSTA, ME (FOX19) - The Maine Republican party has released revised results from the presidential caucuses held last Friday, February 11th.
These are the newly released results (PDF on their site) from the Maine GOP, showing the current caucus vote count.
The total number shows a difference of 239 votes between Governor Mitt Romney and Congressman Ron Paul, the leaders in caucus votes.
Two counties, Hancock, and Washington, are not included. They are holding their caucuses on Saturday, February 18th. Hancock county had always planned their caucus for that date, while the caucus in Washington County was postponed by the state GOP in anticipation of possible snow. The two counties combined represent about one fifteenth of the state population, and would normally draw several hundred people to their caucus meetings.
