Pedestrian struck and killed in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) -

Police are investigating an accident in Fairfield that killed a pedestrian crossing the street.

According to police, the accident happened at around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Seward Rd. and Tylersville Rd. Police say Larry Brabant, 59, was crossing the street when he was hit by a minivan, driven by a Rebecca Mishos, 50.

Brabant was transported to Mercy Hospital Fairfield where he died of his injuries.

No charges will be filed against the driver of the van.
