EAST END, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Fire Department reported a one-alarm structure fire on Sunday morning in the East End.
At 6:37 a.m. the Cincinnati Emergency Communications Center received a telephone call reporting a structure fire on Eastern Avenue.
When fire crews arrived they reported seeing heavy smoke coming from the one-story, vacant building.
Fire fighters say that the fire may have started on the lower level.
The fire is still under investigation. Damage is estimated at $15,000.
One firefighter fell down a flight of stairs. He had minor injuries, and was transported to UC hospital.
