High School Games Postponed Due to Severe Weather

Cincinnati, OH - Flights weren't the only thing being postponed due to severe weather on Friday. Several Ohio and Kentucky High School Basketball Tournament games were forced to wait another day.

Xavier University was going to play host to three Division III Boys' Basketball Sectional Finals on Friday night. Now these games will be played on Saturday at the University of Cincinnati. Teams and times include: Summit Country Day vs. Finneytown at 2:00pm, Madeira vs. Badin at 3:30pm, and Roger Bacon vs. North College Hill at 5:00pm.

Oak Hills High School had to postpone the Division IV Sectional Finals until Saturday. The new times are: Lockland vs. Miami Valley at 1:00pm and Cincinnati Country Day vs. Fayetteville at 3:00pm.

Kentucky also had its fair share of severe weather, so the Ninth Region Girls' Basketball Semifinals at NKU are now going to tip off on Saturday. The teams and times are: St. Henry vs. Boone County at 6:00pm and Ryle vs. Notre Dame Academy at 7:30pm. The Ninth Region Final will take place at 3:00pm on Sunday at NKU.
