MOSCOW, OH (FOX19) -

Building inspectors say nearly 50 homes were damaged and nearly another 50 homes were completely destroyed by the tornado and storms in Moscow. The Ohio National Guard was called in to help clean up.

Lt. Tim Sutter of the National Guard says it feels great to be able to help the locals.

It was a beautiful day on Tuesday and a beautiful sight for residents to see around 200 volunteers from The Home Depot help clean up the debris.

"It's one way we can give back to the community and help out," said Vorn Header of The Home Depot.

The National Guard is hopeful that the debris will be cleaned up rather quickly.

"This should be wrapped up in two weeks or less," said Lt. Sutter.
