HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

A woman who pretended to be a teenage boy in order to meet teen girls online pleaded no contest Thursday on charges that she failed to register as a sex offender.

Patricia Dye, 32, was convicted in 2010 for posing as a 14-year-old boy in order to pursue a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl. She was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with credit for time served, and had to register as a Tier 1 sex offender for the next 15 years.

Dye was later arrested in California in December for failing to properly register her address as required for a sexually oriented offender, which is a felony.

She now faces up to 18 months in jail.
