LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Authorities say a burglar was shot in the foot after a neighbor caught him breaking into a duplex next door Saturday night. Authorities say they are looking for another man connected to the burglary.

Authorities were called to a duplex near the intersection of Delmar and Delano St. in Longview around 9:15 Saturday night.

Longview Police say two black males entered the residence, and that's when a neighbor contacted police on suspicion of a robbery.

During that time, police say shots were fired by a neighbor, hitting one of the suspects, Brian Davis, 18, of Longview, in the foot.

Davis was sent to a Longview hospital, and has since been released. Davis was arrested on four warrants, three related to the burglary, the fourth was an unrelated traffic warrant.

Davis is charged with burglary of a habitation, theft of a firearm, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bonds total $40,000.

Police are still looking for the other black male who ran from the scene.
