Arrest made after woman shot outside Avondale store

AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) -

Police have arrested a man for shooting an innocent bystander who was standing outside an Avondale store.

Branette Carter was exiting the A to Z Wireless Store on Reading Road Friday afternoon when she was shot in the neck as she stood in the doorway. She was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery and continues her efforts to recover.

On Saturday, investigators signed felonious assault charges against David Henderson, 21. Henderson was located and arrested Tuesday morning by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST).
