Bail has been set at $3 million dollars for a fatal shooting suspect who was later shot by police in Green Township.
A judge in Cincinnati set bail Tuesday for 45-year-old David Franks who remains in the hospital in stable condition. Franks' attorney did not immediately return calls for comment.
Hamilton County sheriff's spokesman Steve Barnett says Franks was arrested on charges of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary and three counts of attempted murder on a police officer.
The shootings occurred Sunday about 10 miles from downtown Cincinnati.
Authorities say Franks is accused of breaking into a Green Township residence and fatally shooting his 76-year-old father-in-law, James Schobert. Barnett says Franks was shot three times after allegedly pointing a gun at two sheriff's deputies and a Green Township police officer.
