3 teens arrested after deadly shooting in Colerain Township

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Three teenagers have been arrested after a deadly shooting in Colerain Township that happened late Tuesday afternoon.

Officers from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office were called to the intersection of Pippin Road and Mercury Avenue at around 4:50 p.m. An undercover narcotics officer had observed three men entering a vehicle after hearing several shots fired.

Police at the scene found Sam Campbell, 37, shot. Campbell was transported to University Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

The undercover officer followed the suspicious vehicle from the scene. A short time later, officers from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the Colerain Township Police Department and the Mount Healthy Police Department detained the three men inside the vehicle and placed them into custody for further questioning.  

Those three men have been arrested for their involvement. Antonio Collins, 18, of Covington, is charged with aggravated murder and felonious assault. Frankie Arnold, 18, of Covington, is charged with complicity to aggravated murder. Marcus Deeonte Englemon, 19, of Cincinnati, is charged with complicity to aggravated murder.

Bond for Collins was set at $1.5 million. Bond for Arnold and Englemon was set at $500,000 each.

Police believe the shooting was a drug related incident.
